Research on Medical Assistance in Dying

Dr. Kara Fletcher, Dr. Ailsa Watkinson and Melanie Grace (SASW members) are embarking on a research study looking at the social work role in Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) in Canada.  They plan to interview social workers who have been involved in MAID to understand their role and their view of that role and would also be interested in hearing from social workers who are aware of MAID but have not been involved with the process for any reason.

If you would be willing to answer a few questions over the phone, or would like further information, please contact one of the group at their contact information below.  It is anticipated the interview would take an hour or less to complete.
