SASW Student Scholorship

2005 Recipient: Jami McBain, Saskatoon 

Jami received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2003 from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. She is in her third year of social work with the   Faculty of Social Work, University of Regina.

Jami is currently a volunteer with Planned Parenthood/AIDS Saskatoon. Other community service has included:

• Child care worker, Adelle House (Interval House), Saskatoon
• Supervisor - Supervised Access & Exchange Program, Family Justice Services, Saskatoon
• Child care worker for parents of children with specific special needs
• Volunteer with Primrose Chateau Retirement Community
• Volunteer with Oral English Program, University of Saskatchewan

Jami has a wide variety of interests including swimming, badminton, slo-pitch, skating, biking), drawing, and craft making,
